Have you ever seen an unhappy horse? Have you ever seen a bird in a bad mood? No, because horses and birds do not try to impress other horses and birds. (Dale Carnegie)
The most important and hardest lesson that every man needs to learn and accept in life is that not everyone will love him. The moment you realize that in business you don’t need a strategy to impress potential business partners, but a presentation of your abilities in a way that everyone can understand, you are on the road to success.
We live in an era when social marketing can “make” an individual a successful business partner that you need, but in fact it is nothing more than a “Trojan horse”.
We all know the mythical story of the Trojan War and its heroes.
The beautiful Helen seduced Paris – Hector’s own brother – the prince of Troy. She ran away with him to Troy and thus dragged the Greeks into the war.
The battle between Achilles and Hector did not resolve the war. Two of the strongest and most skilled warriors collided in front of the walls of Troy. It was something that had not been seen in military terms. Everyone knew that Achilles was invincible, and yet, Hector did not back down from playing him. The battle was long and uncertain.
Paris and Helen watched the battle from the walls of Troy and pondered where their decision had led. Achilles dealt the final blow to Hector with a heavy heart because he appreciated his courage and humanity. He knew that an innocent man had lost his life. He humiliated him on the battlefield with military superiority and a fatal blow, but he saw him off with honor.
The Trojans were convinced that the walls of their empire were impregnable, but one horse shattered that myth. It wasn’t even real. While all the Trojans were asleep, the Greeks calmly walked through the gates of Troy. A skillfully crafted horse that held enough warriors to open the gate and quell the resistance of the warriors around it was enough to bring down the empire.
The Internet has become a place where “Trojan horses” enter the scene and topple “empires”, large and small. Everyone has their own Paris, Helen, Achilles, Hector…
Fraud didn’t do anyone any good. The Trojans tricked the Greeks with Helen, the Greeks tricked the Trojans with a fake horse.
Impressing is not the way to success. Honest work, having the necessary skills, a moral code are the best recommendations one can offer.
As a GLOBALSUCCESSMARKETING team, we possess these qualities and therefore offer them as part of our strategy in working for you. We do not want to introduce you to the world of successful business paths through the “ways” of the Greeks and Trojans.
We will present the true picture of your business and human abilities and potential, in a way that the market values your services in the long term and present them where they are valued.
